Our home is our treasure, our castle, our shelter – where we connect, make memories, celebrate moments and live our dreams. For most of us, our home is also also our most important asset, and for most of us, the biggest financial decision we will make.
Today, more than ever, it’s important to have more than a realtor – to have an advocate and a protector to guide you in the home-buying and home-selling process, because not all homes, building methods and materials, locations, mortgages, home maintenance and health, energy efficiency and quality of home construction are created equal.
Whether you are a first-time homebuyer, are considering a move, are downsizing – or whether you are a first time investor or have an extensive portfolio – it’s essential to be informed and educated about your home.
Most of us have never thought about what our homes are made from or how energy efficient they are, but at Heart in Home, we believe clients deserve more that just lip-service and lipstick; our clients deserve to know the truth about the quality of home they are considering investing in – whether as a primary residence or investment property.
At Heart in Home, we have been in the industry for 18 years, and we know homes – not just how they look, but how they will last over time. With 18 years combined experience in mortgages, banking, real estate and law, and expertise in home construction, energy efficiency, location, neighborhood cultures, and tough negotiation, we help you find the home you love and that truly fits you and your lifestyle.

Mickey Reynolds’ professionalism, expertise and experience mitigated the stresses associated with home-buying and moving and made them manageable. He was always available for showings and for questions and offered excellent input and advice throughout the process. Mickey sincerely cares about clients and their well-being, and it shows. I will definitely solicit his assistance in the future. Thanks, Mickey.
I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Mickey Reynolds. His market expertise was instrumental in finding a great property in the right neighborhood. He was very professional and available any time of the day to answer questions. He even went above and beyond by sending me video walkthoughs of the properties that I was interest in (I live out of state). I would highly recommend Mickey to friends and family and look forward to closing more deals with him in the future.
Being an out-of-state investor and looking for a property Boise, I needed a realtor that I could rely and trust, Mickey was that person. During my first visit in Boise, he toured me through the city and talked about the areas that I should look into. He took time to understand my budget and goals for the property. Since I do not live in Boise, I was not able to view the homes physically but Mickey was able to go view the properties on my behalf. He would provide his honest opinion whether the property was good or not and whether to put in an offer. It took a few tries in this competitive housing market but his expertise really helped me find a great property at a solid price. Mickey is an experienced professional and great asset to anyone looking to purchase a home in Boise. I would definitely use Mickey again and will refer others to him as well.
Mickey Is A Very Passionate Agent And Takes Good Care Of His Clients. I Have Worked With Him For Several Years And He Has Always Taken Good Care Of His Clients! Highly Recommend Anyone To Use Mickey!
Mickey Reynolds saw this gem of a house on the Boise market and went and checked out for us, sent us video from his phone because he saw what a great opportunity it was. Once we made an offer, he connected us with a very good inspector and – this is something that’s not typically included in a pre-sale inspection – identified a key sewer-line issue that would have slipped past a less experienced realtor. Mickey also shepherded us through the complicated Dodd-Frank act requirements and connected us with the best homeowners insurance broker too! All in all I can’t recommend Mickey enough. If there were 500 stars, he’d get all 500.
Mickey is a person you can truly trust. Being an out-of-state investor, there is a lot of risk you are taking with a person you just met over the phone. Mickey proved time and time again why he was the right person for the job. I truly valued his opinion as he valued mine. When things didn’t seem to make sense or be fair, he suggested to pull out and find something else. This experience/process with Mickey and Laurie was extremely effortless and easy because of their knowledge. Thanks again for a great experience!
I was a first-time buyer purchasing a new home while relocating to a new city, and my experience was outstanding. I can not imagine a better person to help me through the process than Mickey. At the start of the process, we talked at length about my situation, my likes, dislikes, etc. While I searched online from afar, he generated a steady stream of possible targets based on his deep knowledge of the market. We talked frequently, and re-calibrated, until finally he found a place that felt right to both of us. At that point, he helped me to move quickly to make a successful offer (not easy in this market!), and then guided me through every step of the closing process. As any first-time buyer is likely to tell you, the closing process is stressful, and a lot of unexpected feelings (anxiety, second thoughts) can come up. They definitely did in my case.
Throughout the process, I felt deeply supported by Mickey, and never felt an ounce of pressure. It was obvious to me that his first priority was that I would be happy with the purchase, and now that it’s over, and I’m in my new house, I’m ecstatic. I can’t imagine a better home-buying experience than this, and I unreservedly recommend Mickey to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the Boise area.
Wow, where to begin… To start off, Mickey is an amazing amazing realtor. He makes you feel like your opinion is valued, and he genuinely looks out for what you’re interested in. Our search was short, amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Mickey identified five different houses in four different areas in Boise that he thought we might be interested in seeing. It gave us a really good idea of what we could get for our price point in different locations. When we finally saw the one, we put an offer in less than 24 hours later. Everything was going smoothly until the appraisal. The appraisal came in $15,000 lower than what we had offered, which is actually not uncommon right now. A LOT of appraisals are coming in low despite the extremely high demand. Nonetheless, we thought the house was lost, and were about to start the search again.
But, Mickey did an amazing job of negotiating with the realtor and the sellers and worked with them to agree on the appraised price. I was in disbelief. We actually got the house that we wanted for $15k less than what we offered? It was unheard of! In sum, I am so grateful for Mickey and his amazing negotiation skills. When I thought there was not a chance we were going to get the house, and we had lost all hope, Mickey was able to get us the best deal of our lives. This house is so much more than we could have asked for! I couldn’t be more satisfied with Mickey and I feel so grateful that we chose him as our realtor. Thank you so much Mickey. This would not have happened if it weren’t for you!
